Foriero does it again!  I found 3 more apps that I like for teaching piano lessons.

Music Keys

Music Notes is a game where the student can practice learning note values.  The only thing I wish this app had were different levels because a starting student might get overwhelmed with learning all of the note values at once.

Music Intervals helps students learn generic interval names in both the treble and bass clef. 

Music Keys helps students practice learning where the keys are on the keyboard (again I wish this had different levels, but besides that it is a fun game!)

Piano Stickers Give Away!

 

Because of my earlier post about Music Cubes and Music Tones, Foriero gave me a free set of piano stickers and they also gave me an extra set to give away! These cute little stickers go well with the apps and you can use them for just about anything.  Sometimes I play a little game with the younger students to mark the keys on the piano with stickers.  I shout out the name of the key and they have to mark the key with the appropriate sticker! Also if you have a student that forgets the names of the keys easily, especially sharps and flats, you can stick these on a printable keyboard and have them take it home.  Or better yet have the student stick them on the printable keyboard at the lesson!
